Building a blog is way easier than setting up a responsive readership for it, isn’t it?
Bloggers give me 10/10 for this statement. In novice period of blogging, it becomes quite exciting seeing your blog posts followed by several readers and it even gets overwhelming when they actively take part in your post’s discussions, but one day it all vanishes away…
It’s because YOU lose interest in your blogs. Oh yes this is the reason. In the beginning of your blogging journey, you’re pretty much excited and enthusiastic, so every time you write a blog there’s a storm of ideas blowing your mind. But eventually this storm settles down and you’re left with some less interesting topics.
Obviously they don’t catch your reader’s eyes… but don’t fret!!! it’s normal…
Every blogger gets a time where he becomes uninspired or less motivated. Or perhaps he feel that he has exhausted all the topics and wonders WHAT’S NEXT… This is the moment where a blogger must hit Refresh button before moving forward.
Blogging is like running a business and to run it successfully one must have a handful of new ideas and tactics to keep it ALIVE and KICKING. So here are a few nuggets that will definitely help you climb the ladder of success faster than you imagined.
Take A Break!!!
Remember, tigers step back before taking a long jump. So this is your time to STEP BACK and prepare for your long jump. Re-evaluate your situation and THINK, where is your blog you heading? what do you want from your readers? Once you’ve come up with answers to all these questions, its time to JUMP…
Update Previous Blog Posts:
Before you play your new cards, readjust the old ones. Your older posts need to be updated, so what are you waiting for? Go back to your older posts and write down all possible topics that branch from them and soon you will get some more ideas to write on.
Experiment New Writing Style:
If you’ve written 100s of how-to articles, its time to play with your syntax. Bring in the latest trends and developments of your industry that your readers get attracted to. Varying your styles will open a new world of topics that your readers love to read and you love to write.
If your blog suffers just because you don’t get much time to write, you can always hire writers. Hiring writers will add spice and new style to your blog. Not to mention, it will also shed off huge load from your shoulder.
Engage your readers, ask them for feedback and let them write for you. Readers are your asset, make sure they’re completely engaged and engrossed with your blog activities.
See that’s simple… There are no hard and fast tactics to freshen up your blog. With a little brainstorming, you can come up with several ways to keep your blog content fresh and interesting.
